It has been almost a solid 3 years since I've completed a single piece of art and I'm just now realizing this. And I am incredibly upset with myself and I'm incredibly embarrassed. I feel like a total moron and I'm just very upset with this realization. And I've also realized that I haven't broken the chain in college. And I actually haven't really produced any 'good' art so far this year. Actually...in a really long time. I'm upset. I keep saying that but I don't know how else to say this. Here I am trying to make a portfolio and maybe try to get my name out there for some freelance work and I can't even complete a single fucking (excuse my language) piece. How am I going to be able to work? Bah! And I have good ideas. I have bajillions of sketches and doodles. But no final renders of my ideas. I feel like a bad artist. Like a bruise on the art community. Because I post my half finished shit. D: And no one watches me. Which doesn't bother me that much. Cause I don't have much to be watched for.

So I think I'm going to bail on deviantART for a while. I'm also not getting any decent criticism from outsiders on anything I post. My friends comment but their advice only goes so far. I'm sorry to say that guys but you know it's true. So I think I'm going to bail on all art community sites for a while until I can get my shit together. Until I have something worth posting.

I also made a deal with myself. That I complete at least 3 totally new pieces over the summer. At least 18 x 24. Any medium. And I also plan on completing at least 3 digital paintings (not colored sketches) but complete paintings. I need to crack down. This is ridiculous. I'm an embarrassment to myself.

So I'm not going to post or do anything on dA until I feel like I'm not a moron anymore. If you really want to contact me I have facebook, I have email, I have AIM. I don't use AIM that much. I check my email like 20 times a day. That's the best bet.

I think it's for the best for now. Oh. And *Tear-Bleeder I will post your picture of Ariel when I get done with it. It's on the top of my list. And =stormchylde your commission from hella long ago is up there too.

I think this break will also give me time to organize my ideas and come up with a new organizational technique. Because I won't be worried about posting junk cause I feel like I should post something.
